4B – Has less of a defined curl pattern, more of a Z pattern. Hair is very wiry, very tightly coiled and very fragile. Best to detangle hair with a lot of conditioner, using a comb or detangling brush. Suitable styling products with this hair type is made with natural oils and rich butters.
